Die Leeurivier Lapa is die ideale plek vir ‘n familievakansie. Dit is ‘n groot, robuuste woonstel wat ideaal is vir kinders en prakties toegerus is vir plesier en ontspanning. Die Lapa is geleë in ‘n wildkamp met genoeg akkommodasie, ‘n volledig toegeruste kombuis, twee ruimtes vir braai en ‘n groot grasperk. Verskeie gesinne kan ‘n week of meer deurbring in die buitelewe en die natuur bied die moeë siel aan.

Hierdie son- en gasaangedrewe eiendom bestaan uit drie groot slaapkamers wat elk slaapplek het vir 3 en daar is 2 ekstra beddens in die ruim sitarea. Aparte ablusiegeriewe beteken dat daar nie soggens toue sal wees nie; terwyl die binne- en buite-leefareas verseker dat almal ‘n rustige plek kry om te ontspan, na die voëls te luister en die wolke hoog bo te sien vaar. Kinders kan vryelik, maar veilig op die grasperk speel, of op hul fietse met homoseksuele kinders rondry.

Neem ‘n vroeë wandeling met sonsopkoms, of met sonsondergang, ry deur die veld, en jy kan verskeie van die volgende sien: Kameelperde, Sebra, Koedoe, Eland, Oryx, Swartwitpens, Blue Wildebees, Rooihartebee, Blesbok, Impala, Springbok, Duiker, Steenbok, Volstruis en die kleiner veldbewoners soos haas en mango.

Vir braaiers het ons lamsvleis en boerewors te koop, maar sorg dat u genoeg brood, kaas, blatjang, ens. Saambring om die beste jaffels of braaibroodjies te maak. Daar is ‘n potjiepot en vir die broodbakkers het ons stokke vir stokbrood en genoeg roosterruimte om haan-koek te maak. Berei u voor om baie nagte onder die wonderlike sterre deur te bring om saam kos te maak, stories in te ruil en grappies te deel.

Leeurivier Wildkamp Lapa is a rustic self-catering farmhouse situated 50 km south of Beaufort West. The house can comfortably accommodate a group of 9 people with space for everyone to relax and enjoy the wide open Karoo veld.
The Lapa is situated between 2 dry riverbeds within a large game camp, boasting an impressive variety of game species including giraffe, zebra, kudu, eland, sable, gemsbok, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, blesbok, springbuck, duiker, steenbok, ostrich, and the smaller veld inhabitants like the hare and mongoose.

This solar and gas-powered property consists of 3 bedrooms and ample ablution facilities: a bath, a shower and 3 separate toilets. The main and third bedroom each have 1 single bed and 1 queen-size bed, and the second bedroom is furnished with 3 single beds. The open-plan kitchen contains a double-door fridge, a gas stove with an oven and ample cooking utensils and pots.

The outside area contains a grassed area with a braai, as well as a covered area with an additional built-in braai. The living area includes a bar area, a large dining table and chairs as well as a fireplace which makes it a cosy alternative in winter.

The Leeurivier Lapa is the ideal place a family farm holiday. It is a large, robust facebrick dwelling that is ideal for children and practically equipped for fun and relaxation. The Lapa is located in a game camp with ample accommodation, a fully equipped kitchen, two spaces for braaiing and a large lawn. Several families can spend a week or more simply enjoying the great outdoors and all nature has to offer the weary soul.

This solar and gas-powered property consists of three large bedrooms each sleep 3 and there are 2 extra beds in the spacious lounge area. Separate ablution facilities mean there’ll be no queuing in the morning; while both the indoor and outdoor living areas ensure that everyone gets a quiet spot in which to relax and unwind, listen to the birds and watch the clouds sail by high above. Children can play freely but safely on the lawn or ride around the veld on their bikes with gay abandon.

Take an early walk at sunrise, or at sunset drive through the veld and you might spot several of the following: Giraffe, Zebra, Kudu, Eland, Oryx, Sable, Blue Wildebees, Red Hartebees, Blesbok, Impala, Springbuck, Duiker, Steenbok, Ostrich and the smaller veld inhabitants like hare and mongoose.

For braaiiers, we have lamb and boerewors for sale, but make sure you bring along enough bread, cheese, chutney etc. to make the ultimate jaffles or braai broodjies. There is a potjie pot and for the bread bakers, we have sticks for stokbrood and ample grid space to make rooster koek. Prepare to spend many nights under the magnificent stars making food together, swopping stories and sharing jokes.

Once we receive booking, I will send through directions on a detailed map so guest can navigate their preferred route. With the map you will receive a code to enter at the gate of the farm. We will welcome you and direct you further. A 4 x 4 or high suspension car isn’t necessary, but dirt road can be bumpy for very low suspension car.

Coming from north of Beaufort West, you drive through Beaufort West on the N1, 13km outside town you right on the Theekloof Road with signs in direction Fraserburg right, 11.5km on the dirt road you have to turn left at a fork in direction Merweville, 18.6km the farm will be on the left . Enter code at the farm gate, almost there.
Coming from Cape Town, continue on the N1 and turn left 63.5km after you have passed Leeu Gamka towards Fraserburg on the Theekloof Road. 11.5km on the dirt road you have to turn left at a fork in direction Merweville, 18.6km the farm will be on the left. Enter code at the farm gate, almost there.
