Naledi Farm was born out of our first book Tshimong Ya Meroho Le Naledi (In the Vegetable Garden with Naledi). Its storyline is set in a vegetable garden and contains principles of self-sufficiency, oneness with all of creation and love for self.
The Farm is located on a 3.5HA Agricultural Holding just five minutes outside Centurion and gives effect practically so to the principles in Tshimong Ya Meroho Le Naledi.
FROM OUR FIELDS TO YOUR PLATE
The vegetable garden is a quick stroll from the main house and boasts mouth-watering spinach, beets, rainbow carrots in winter; to marrows, okra, sunflowers and artichokes in summer!
Every month the farm hosts a Harvest Table luncheon where guests are seated at long tables sharing generous servings of our freshly baked bread and seasonal harvest from the garden. A speaker is also invited to share the harvest of their works, skill or knowledge.
All this is matched with great conversation, laughter and the most breathtaking view of our valley. Kids workshops and camps are run throughout the year where kids step out of their everyday life and immerse themselves in nature – creating, building, exploring and learning Our aim is to encourage children to be creative, to use their hands and be self-reliant.
